CIV RACING NIGHT POSTER SIGNED BY ALDO DRUDI
Save the date: 3 August 2024. Today the new edition of the CIV Racing Night was presented, an unmissable summer event with SBK and SuperSport riders competing under the artificial lights of the Misano World Circuit.
The presentation was attended by the top management of the FMI, with President Giovanni Copioli and the head of the FMI speed sector Simone Folgori, with special guests the world president of the FIM Jorge Viegas and Andrea Albani, managing director of MWC. The official poster, presented in the morning, is signed by Drudi Performance.
“We have many expectations – said Copioli – because last year’s success is still fresh in the memory, with so many spectators and tourists arriving from the nearby Riviera – We have seen how the night race amplifies the great overall growth of the CIV and in a facility like MWC there is the opportunity to grow further. We work to enrich the evening with new emotions so that it is truly a memorable experience for the participants.”
“You Italians are incredible – underlined Viegas – and in organizing these events you are one step ahead. I am amazed by the images seen and the intuition is really excellent.”
“The CIV Racing Night – said Albani – is the synthesis of a now solid path, which combines events with hospitality, enhances all the components of motorsport by giving value to businesses, to offer a high-level show, with the addition of that we have in our DNA. MWC was born in 1972 with night events in mind and we have successfully relaunched that intuition. The event has grown a lot together with the entire CIV and we are expecting a lot of people on the 3rd too.”
“This is a lucid madness – Folgori’s words – which over the years has become a splendid reality. When motorsport adds real content, it always proves to attract the attention of the general public. We are now one of the important events in the tourist promotion of the Riviera. This year we will add new elements: the online ticket office dedicated to the evening, a final party and the even wider possibility of getting on the grid with the drivers. On the sporting front we work for prestigious wild cards”
The drivers Michele Pirro and Luca Ottaviani also spoke at the presentation, recalling the emotion of the night race and the performances substantially similar to daytime races and in complete safety.
