THE SCENERY
For Edoardo Mortara of Mahindra Racing, this race has a special meaning: The Italian-Swiss-French driver is keen to have a good race in front of his home crowd, especially after the promising performance in Tokyo.
All eyes will also be on Mitch Evans, probably the most successful Formula E driver in Italy, who has four victories in Rome. Together with his current teammate Nick Cassidy, Evans achieved an astonishing 1-2 at last year’s Rome E-Prix and will be looking to repeat that.
Max Günther will arrive at Misano fresh from victory, with the aim of capitalizing on his excellent form and enthusing the fans with another good performance from Maserati MSG Racing on Italian soil. Meanwhile, Oliver Rowland enters the race weekend aiming to extend his impressive run of podiums, seeking a fourth consecutive top three finish.
With the title race open, Pascal Wehrlein will also give his all to secure a more comfortable place in the standings.

RIBBON CUTTING FOR THE MWC PADEL ARENA
Misano World Circuit embraces a new era of sport and enriches its offer with two exclusive padel courts that represent a fusion between the breathtaking speed of racing and the strategic agility of padel, creating a unique experience.
The MWC Padel Arena, located between the main entrance and the Santomonica Restaurant, was born from the desire to create, together with Formula E, an event that could bring fans and drivers closer together, as happens in the main motorsport events that Miisano World Circuit hosts. The choice fell on padel, a sport that is rapidly expanding all over the world. An initiative that found full support from Cupra, already the main sponsor of one of the main international circuits, and from Sport Valley.
Hence the contact with Gmpadel, a network of experts in sports facilities and recreational spaces specialized in the production and assembly of padel courts, with which an agreement was born that will go beyond the Misano E-Prix weekend. In fact, from the next few weeks, the structure will be open to the public, further strengthening the connection between the circuit and the territory.
With the MWC Padel Arena Misano World Circuit is increasingly confirming itself as a large motorsport park, expressing the multifunctionality of the circuit at the highest level.
The first to test the new padel courts will be, tomorrow at 7pm, the Superbike and Supersport riders Michele Pirro, Nicolò Antonelli and Luca Bernardi, the former MotoGP rider Alex De Angelis and other icons of the sporting world, as well as some riders of Formula E.
ROSE VILLAIN AND BRADLEY SIMPSON LIVE PERFORMANCES IN THE FAN VILLAGE
Saturday and Sunday will also feature live performances, including that of Rose Villain and The Vamps frontman Bradley Simpson.
Rose Villain will be a great protagonist on Saturday. Her song “Click Boom!”, brought to the stage at the last Sanremo Festival, was certified platinum by FIMI / GfK Italia. From June 1st she will be engaged in the summer tour “Radio Sakura Summer Tour”, which will take her to tour the entire peninsula.
Bradley Simpson will take the stage at the Fan Village on Sunday. Following his success with The Vamps, he transitioned from frontman to solo artist, embarking on an exciting new chapter in his career. This includes the start of a series of live performances and the release of his debut single, “Cry at the Moon”. His tour began in March this year, selling out London and Birmingham, before continuing to New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam.
The performances of Rose Villain and Bradley Simpson are part of the many opportunities that ticket holders for the Misano E-Prix will have access to (tickets still available: https://www.ticketone.it/artist/formula-e/) .
TOMORROW THE GIRLS ON TRACK ACTIVITIES ON THE CIRCUIT
As part of FIA Girls on Track, the program which aims to promote gender equality in motorsports by offering young women a look at the many career opportunities available on and off the track, a day of on-track initiatives is planned for tomorrow. There are 150 girls, aged between 12 and 18, who have signed up to participate in the event which offers a direct look at the world of racing.
Also significant is the presence of Muner (Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna), which has been at the forefront of initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality in the automotive sector for years. On the occasion of the Misano E-Prix Muner will exhibit two prototypes in the area dedicated to Girls On Track inside the Fan Village.
THE FIM E-XPLORER WORLD CUP DEBUT
In addition to all the action on the track, Formula E fans will be able to experience an unforgettable day in the Allianz Fan Village.
The FIM E-Xplorer World Cup series will make its debut in Misano: an international championship of cutting-edge electric motorcycles currently in its second season, in which each team is made up of two riders of both sexes.
The E-Xplorer series is an EnduroCross championship, combining the high speeds of motocross with the obstacles of enduro racing. To test drivers’ skills, the tracks feature a mix of challenging obstacles such as piles of rocks and logs, as well as jumps and bumpy sections to enhance the spectacle. The E-Xplorer paddock will be set up for a series of demonstrations throughout the weekend, available to all ticket holders for the Misano E-Prix.
