The bikes that made history are the protagonists of the Misano CIV Classic Weekend

Misano World Circuit > Misano Classic Weekend > The bikes that made history are the protagonists of the Misano CIV Classic Weekend

Misano World Circuit, 11 October 2024 – It promises to be a weekend of great entertainment at the Misano World Circuit, the venue for the last round of the CIV Classic and the Trofeo Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance.

On the track will be the bikes that have made motorcycling history, vehicles that are at least 20 years old, most of which are registered in the FMI Historic Register, which will take you back in time, allowing you to breathe in the atmosphere of the circuits of the past.

The Misano CIV Classic Weekend will get into full swing tomorrow, with qualifying and the evening race of the Trofeo Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance, characterized by the “Le Mans style” start, with the bikes lined up.

Ten races are scheduled for Sunday, to which is added the second race of the Moto Guzzi Trophy. Among the categories on the track, the 2T Italian GP, divided into 125 and 250 engine sizes, the only championship in Italy reserved for 2-stroke motorcycles.

The weekend promises to be very heated: only 4 classes already have the winners known, while in all the others the contenders will battle it out on the track until the last breath.

THE THIRD EDITION OF MEET ME IN MOTORCYCLE IS ON THE SCHEDULE

The third edition of Meet Me in Motorcycle will also take place at the Misano World Circuit over the weekend, the exclusive all-female motorcycling event organized by the Italian Motorcycling Federation. The program will get into full swing tomorrow, with classroom theory sessions and courses in road riding, off-roading and flat track. The latter discipline is the big new feature this year.

On Sunday, between 9:00 and 13:00, registered participants will be able to watch a CIV Classic race from the edge of the track, take part in a basic motorcycle maintenance course, visit the pitlane thanks to the Pit Walk and discover the behind the scenes of the competitions with the Paddock and Race control tour.

FREE ACCESS TO THE PUBLIC

New this year is free entry. The public will be able to access the Central Grandstand and Grandstand B.
