Misano World Circuit, 24 April 2024 – The highly anticipated EICMA Riding Fest will be the setting that on Saturday 27 April will announce the Emilia-Romagna Round of WorldSBK scheduled at Misano World Circuit from 14 to 16 June.
On Saturday 27 April, at 11.00, the two Ducati riders Nicolò Bulega (Team Aruba) and Andrea Iannone (Team Go Eleven), returning from the third round of the Superbike World Championship which was held in Holland last weekend, on the occasion of the great ” reunion” of motorcycling enthusiasts, will unveil the 2024 poster on the Radio Deejay stage.
After having just celebrated the 950th race in its history in Assen, the world championship for production-derived motorcycles will now have a break and then arrive in the Motor Valley, in the other circuit which in terms of number of races held is similar to that of the ” Cathedral of Speed” in the great history of the popular event.
A showbike from the Ducati Aruba team will be exhibited on stage and Giammaria Manghi (Emilia-Romagna Region), Fabrizio Piccioni (Mayor of Misano Adriatico), Pietro Meda (EICMA President), Andrea Albani (Managing Director Misano World Circuit), Francesco Valentino will also take part. (Dorna Sport), Serafino Foti (Aruba team manager), Filippo Conti (Yamaha GYRT team manager), Denis Sacchetti (Go Eleven team manager).
At the end, fans will be able to meet the drivers for an autograph session.
The presentation will be hosted within the first edition of the EICMA RIDING FEST, the new free event organized and promoted by the International Two Wheel Exhibition of Milan on the occasion of its 110th anniversary, which includes a very rich offer of demo rides. Awaiting enthusiasts on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April will be more than 280 motorbikes being tested on road, off-road and track, as well as preparatory activities reserved for young and very young people and the presence of the best technical clothing brands. And then freestyle shows, entertainment from the stage, the presence of VIPs, talent, drivers and motorsport legends, food, an exhibition village and also a space reserved for gaming with motorbike and car simulators. Entry to the EICMA RIDING FEST is completely free, upon registration on the eicma.it website, as are all driving experiences, with the exception of test sessions on the international track, which can always be purchased on the event website and whose proceeds will be entirely donated at the Marco Simoncelli Foundation.
Saturday 27th will truly be a great day for motorcycle enthusiasts. Added to the presentation of the 2024 poster of the Emilia-Romagna Round and the full program of the EICMA Riding Fest is the ‘Moto Incontro del SIC’ which the Moto Club Misano organizes starting from the circuit named after the unforgettable Marco Simoncelli, with a program that it will last until Sunday 28th. All proceeds will be donated to the Marco Simoncelli Foundation.
