RED BULL GRAND PRIX OF SAN MARINO AND THE RIMINI RIVIERA:
OFFICIAL PRACTICES AND SPRINT RACE TOMORROW AT 3:00 PM
Misano World Circuit, 6 September 2024 – The anticipation for the challenges on the track is growing. After today’s day dedicated to testing, tomorrow it’s already time for challenges at the Red Bull Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera and after the official qualifying the spotlight is on the Tissot Sprint scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
In the meantime, the busy calendar of The Riders’ Land Experience continues, with the area animated by events in tune with a full-throttle weekend.
The Red Bull Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera, in addition to being the 20th consecutive at MWC since the resumption of racing in 2007 and the 30th in the history of the circuit, is also the 400th MotoGP™ race since the category, with this name, was introduced in 2002.
MotoGP enthusiasts will be welcomed at the MWC Square, the space where the network of companies that animate the circuit all year round with proposals related to the world of two wheels plays a leading role. Inside, there is also the Federal Center of the Italian Motorcycling Federation, a true point of reference for the promotion of motorcycling. Here, late yesterday afternoon, the press conference was held to present an important agreement between FMI and the Sports Center of the Carabinieri, thanks to which Luca Lunetta, one of the leading riders of the PATA Talenti Azzurri Project, will be the first motorcyclist to enter the sports group of the Carabinieri.
The young rider of the Sic58 Squadra Corse, who this year debuted in the Moto3 World Championship and fresh from his first world championship podium obtained in the last Aragon event, will be a trailblazer for other riders who will be able to follow his same path.
SPORT & ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE: THE ITS MAKER SPECIALIZATION COURSE DOUBLES
The first two years of the post-diploma technical specialization course “Sport & Electric Motorcycle”, organized by ITS Maker inside the Misano World Circuit, have recently concluded with the first 25 graduates. Most of them have already found a job or have received job offers.
With the start of the second two-year period, the students will become about a hundred: the course, in fact, doubles by activating a second class. A great opportunity for graduate students who intend to pursue the project of working on the track, in the pits of racing teams, but also in all the companies that produce motorcycles and their components, including electric motorcycles.
The courses are free, with only a small initial registration fee, they include 1000 hours per year (600 in the classroom, in this case on the circuit, and 400 of internship in the company). Candidates will have to take an aptitude test, which includes a written test and a motivational interview to define the training and professional path together.

On September 11th, from 3 pm to 6 pm, in the Simoncelli Hall, the an Open Day to present the course and the many other opportunities offered: support in finding accommodation, the possibility of doing an internship abroad (thanks to Erasmus+ funds), the possibility of spending a period abroad (extracurricular) to study the English language. FLIGHT SIMULATOR AND VEHICLE EXHIBITION FOR THE 250 YEARS OF THE FINANCE GUARD
This year too, the Carabinieri, the Financial Guard and the Police are present with operational support at the event and with their own stands and vehicles on display.
In the “Misanino” area, in particular, the Financial Guard, as part of the 250 years since the Foundation of the Corps, will be present until Sunday with a stand of the Emilia – Romagna Regional Command set up and managed by the Provincial Command of Rimini. The area displays an AW/169M model helicopter, several historic vehicles provided by the Historical Museum of Finance and high-tech devices for air navigation and operational flight activities (flight simulators and connected devices, such as drones), with the possibility, for the more curious, of using the flight simulator made available for the occasion by the Centro di Aviazione Pratica di Mare della Guardia di Finanza.
The helicopter, with its institutional livery, can be visited together with the financial police officers employed at the stands, who will illustrate the functionality of the modern and futuristic equipment and their application during the various operational activities that the Guardia di Finanza engages in on a daily basis throughout the country.
THE RIDERS’ LAND EXPERIENCE, TOMORROW’S EVENTS IN THE TERRITORY
In Misano, as part of DediKato 2024, at the Poste car park from 5pm the Stuntman streetbike freestyle rider Show with Barzy freestyle presenting spectacular stunts performed by a professional stuntman and streetbiker freestyle. During the show, adrenaline-filled maneuvers, jumps and advanced tricks on motorcycles will be performed, demonstrating technical skills and courage.
Between Viale della Repubblica and Piazzale Roma, again from 5:00 p.m., a parade of historic motorcycles, iconic and restored models that celebrate the history of motorcycling.
At the Arena 58, from the afternoon, DJ set and in the evening
The “Matti di Corinaldo” parade, the revival moment that will see the grandfathers of today’s scooters take to the track. Riding the famous “cinquantini” that have made the history of entire generations of Italians, will be eccentric pilots, I Matti
di Corinaldo, who will ride their two-stroke mopeds facing each other in bizarre challenges in the oval of the Arena 58.
The exhibition of vintage Fiat 500s is added.
In the evening, the Acthung Babies U2 Tribute Band concert and the fireworks display that will close the second day of DediKato.
At Misano World Circuit, the Red Bull Saturday Party by Nameless Festival with the participation of DJ Axwell from 6:00 pm, at 9:30 pm Freestyle Motocross Show by Daboot.
In Cattolica from 10.00 Body Art and Motors in viale Bovio and at 17.00 between viale Dante and Piazza Primo maggio ‘A yellow sea’ with minibikes in parade through the streets of Cattolica with mini champions.
The exhibition Le stelle in pista continues in Rimini at the Palazzina Roma in Piazzale Fellini. Curated by the Nuovo Moto Club Renzo Pasolini, the exhibition is dedicated to the riders of the motorcycle club, 8 riders who compete in various world championships: Marco Bezzecchi, Tony Arbolino, Mattia Pasini, Luca Lunetta, Mattia Casadei, Matteo Ferrari, Massimo Roccoli, Niccolò Antonelli.
