OVER 70,000 SPECTATORS EXPECTED OVER THE WEEKEND AT MISANO WORLD CIRCUIT
ON THURSDAY MORNING THE CHALLENGE BETWEEN BAUTISTA AND RAZGATLIOGLU WILL START AT THE PADEL ARENA
HISTORIC APPOINTMENT: THE FIM WOMEN’S MOTORCYCLING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP STARTS FROM MWC
Misano World Circuit, 10 June 2024 – The Emilia-Romagna Round restarts the engines of WorldSBK and after almost two months of break arrives at Misano World Circuit for one of the most awaited stages of the season, in the circuit that has seen it protagonist for 33 years.
All the riders currently at the top of the rankings, from Bautista in SBK to Huertas in WorldSSP, up to Mogeda in WSSP300, have their pursuers in close contact and when the races resume the rivalry will once again be heated.
Of note is the wild card for Michele Pirro in WorldSBK, with the Riders’ Land rider who, after his successes in the CIV and appearances in MotoGP, will compete with new opponents together with the great SBK champions and the Italians Nicolò Bulega, Andrea Locatelli, Andrea Iannone , Danilo Petrucci, Nicholas Spinelli, Axel Bassani and Michael Rinaldi
All the conditions are there for a record weekend, with ticket presales ahead of last year, when almost 71,000 spectators flocked to the Simoncelli over the three days.
Tickets are available on the Ticketone.it portal and on the misanocircuit.com website. With some types of tickets it is also possible to access the paddock and attend the awards ceremonies directly and contact the WorldSBK champions. Also supporting the riders are the stands chosen by Ducati (Tribuna C) and Yamaha (Tribuna B) to bring together the passion of the spectators.
The thermometer of the success of the Emilia-Romagna Round is also confirmed by the sold out of the hospitality reserved for sponsors in the new MWC Pit Building, demonstrating the importance that WorldSBK also assumes for corporate communication.
In the wake of inclusion and sustainability, all the traditional initiatives linked to the Solidarity Pit Walk on Thursday afternoon have been confirmed with the involvement of local third sector associations and, among all, the Food Collection, in collaboration with the Papa Giovanni XXIII Association which, in addition to providing assistance to people with disabilities, is on the front line for the recovery of surplus food which every year is donated to family homes, soup kitchens, reception centres, therapeutic communities, Bethlehem Huts for the homeless.
THE FIRST FIM WOMEN’S MOTORCYCLING WORLD CHOAMPIONSHIP AT THE EMILIA-ROMAGNA ROUND
At the Emilia-Romagna Round there will also be the long-awaited debut of the new FIM Women’s Motorcycling World Championship. The race weekend will start with the Superpole on Friday, followed by Race 1 on Saturday and Race 2 on Sunday. The other rounds scheduled in this first edition, after MWC, will be at Donington in the UK, at the Algarve in Portugal, at Cremona Circuit and at Jerez in Spain.

RAZGATLIOGLU AND BAUTISTA WILL START THE CHALLENGE STARTING FROM PADEL
The 2024 meet&greet media event will be inside the circuit, at the recently inaugurated Padel Arena, where the riders will meet the fans and compete in the sporting discipline that has now become a popular phenomenon also in Italy and on the Rimini Riviera. At the Padel Arena MWC, Toprak Razgatlioglu, Alvaro Bautista, Andrea Locatelli and WorldWCR riders Roberta Ponziani, Tayla Relph and Lucy Michel will compete.
THE CIV NIGHT POSTER SIGNED BY ALDO DRUDI WILL BE REVEALED ON FRIDAY
At 12.15 on Friday, at the FMI Federal Technical Center located in the MWC Square, the poster of the CIV Night will be presented, the highly anticipated round of the Italian Superbike championship which will also be held this year under the light of artificial headlights. The race is scheduled for the evening of Saturday 3 August. The poster, signed by Aldo Drudi, will announce an event that has earned great attention from fans in recent years.
