SATURDAY SIX RACES WITH VALENTINO ROSSI ON THE TRACK AT 2.00 PM AND 9.00 PM
Misano World Circuit, 17 May 2024 – After the prologue on Thursday, with the drivers engaged in a tournament at the new Padel Arena of Misano World Circuit, the weekend of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered begins today with tests and tomorrow with the first races by AWS.
Eliseo Donno, Mattia Drudi, Giacomo Altoè and Lorenzo Ferrari have tried their hand at this very popular discipline which permanently features two fields at the circuit equipped to allow the protagonists of the paddock and the public to practice it. Since it has been available, challenges have flourished between the teams of the various events and even end late in the evening, in a context that also offers the opportunities of the MWC Square with the companies protagonists in the commercial animation of an increasingly popular area. The ‘padel mania’ will also have the support of lessons, tomorrow from 10.00 to 20.00, thanks to the presence of specialized instructors
Also tomorrow, from 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm, the MWC Square will host an OASI lounge with DJ set and flair cocktail bar for the entertainment of the public and accessible to all those present on the circuit.
Today with the tests and from tomorrow with the first six races scheduled, the track will also be the protagonist. The tests of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe are eagerly awaited and will also see Valentino Rossi competing at 2.00 pm and 9.00 pm, paired with Maxime Martin to repeat last year’s success.
“For ten years we have hosted this event which features the fastest cars in the world with covered wheels – says Andrea Albani, managing director of MWC – among which Motor Valley products such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati stand out. There are extraordinarily talented drivers on the track and we hope that the Italians will be protagonists. We are ready to welcome the fans with an attractive proposal, with the evening race at 9pm which is the only one of the entire season in the GT program.”
